The Department of Large Animal Clinical Sciences has a long-standing record of outstanding research focused on the individual and population with the aim to improve animal health, welfare, performance, and productivity. Our department is dedicated to solving the most pressing issues affecting aquatic animals, beef and dairy cattle, deer, equine, food safety, one health, poultry, and small ruminants. The department fosters an environment of collaboration and innovation in which the most advanced technologies available are used to improve the health and welfare of animals and humans.
