Currently, his research portfolio includes: (i) clinical and population research that translates into health care and (ii) he is one of nine research team leaders of the UF’s Innovation Lab for Livestock Systems (a research and capacity-building initiative funded by USAID designed to enhance livestock systems, human health and nutrition in countries with low-income economies in Africa and Asia).
