Online Course
The Horse
This course covers many important topics in the domesticated horse field including reproduction, anatomy, the musculoskeletal system, GI physiology, preventative health care, as well as current research.
The Horse Overview
While the Horse Course is offered through the University of Florida, many students that take this class attend other Colleges and Universities.
Many Colleges and Universities have slightly different schedules. In order to accommodate these different schedules, the class has been designed to be run in an asynchronous manner (i.e. students have weekly assignments, but do not need to log into the class at any specific time during the day)
For questions about this class, contact the Course Director: Dr. Patrick Larkin, Ph.D.

Course Information
Objectives
At the end of this course students will be able to:
- Describe some common health issues in horses

This class will use ProctorU* for online proctoring services for the three exams. ProctorU is an online proctoring service that allows exam takers to complete their assessment at home while still ensuring the integrity of the exam for the institution.
*the costs for the ProctorU service are covered in the tuition of the class.
